These are my people, I love them so
beaming joy from head to toe.
Purpose and meaning they ofter me
rays of light for all to see.
These are the people, I asked Him to send
together forever, there is no end.
These are MY people and I am SO thankful for them! What would life for me be like if it were not for them? Boring, unproductive, unfulfilled, sad, lazy, quiet... I shutter at the thought.
I am grateful for Eddie, he is tender, loving and uncomplicated. He teaches me to show compassion.
I am grateful for Bubba for always being crazy and happy. He teaches me how to let loose and have fun.
I am grateful for Fish for being so thoughtful. He teaches me the importance of order, he loves order.
I am grateful for Douey. Her turned up nose and pipsqueak voice. She is all of our angel. Oh my!
I am grateful of Burger. He is precious, patient, sweet, squishy and smells wonderful.
One of our most favorite things to do is to sit around and talk. The older boys are just getting to that age where we "talk". They all love to reminisce (SO grateful we have those memories to reminisce about!) They thoroughly enjoy hearing about Ben's and I's childhood and youth. They are starting to be big thinkers and our meaty conversations about life and the gospel are getting more energized all the time.
There is nothing so magnificent as being a mother. As I sat, rummaging through photos this past week, I was reminded of how superior this thing called Motherhood is. What a pleasure it is. I love being a mother. I love the utterly intoxicating feelings of joy I get only as a mother. I am so grateful for them. I really love my people. A lot.

LOVE the picture and love the thoughts on your loved ones. Family is really the only thing that matters.
I find it so amazing that children bring such different feelings to a family.
