Ben and I went on a house hunting trip in Austin and saw way to many great houses and explored way too many options including building, we left a bit overwhelmed. We have yet to finalize anything but are hopeful that we will find a house that works for our family of 7 and soon. Our realtor is working hard, bless her little heart, maybe I should have prefaced our relationship with the fact Ben and I are both perfectionist and can be hard to please :)
This is what we saw a 10 minutes before boarding the plane.... WHAT the heck! it was May 1st! When we got off the plane in Austin it was 80 degrees and like heaven.

As much as we tried to remember to take pictures we just simply did not but here are 2 that confirm our trip :)

well, welcome to austin! enjoy the 80s while you still can. it will be 180 here soon! :)
I am so excited for you guys!! Can't wait to see pictures of the house you guys decided!
good luck house hunting! be perfectionists!!! we weren't when we first came down to vegas, and finally we decided to sell and move. and that was a hassle. so it pays in the long run to be picky. NOW i love my house, but it was a pain to get here.
good luck on the house hunting! you always dress so cute. i have no style. cute pics.
Yeah, house hunting is hard! We couldn't ever find anything we liked when we were very first looking and so we ended up building. We just finished building our second house, and I am in house heaven. I LOVE my house. Be picky!! Be choosy! Get what you want and need, and don't feel guilty about it. It is the realtor's job to help you get there. :) Good luck!
we only had one weekend - two days to find our house here, it is so hard to find a house across the country - so I totally feel your pain. Good luck!
So fun! So when do you actually move down there? Were you guys anywhere near the tornado that hit near Denver? Scary stuff.
