Sisters Retreat Austin - 2011

My mother and sisters came to me this year for our sisters retreat. They wanted to see my stomping grounds and I was so thrilled. We stayed in a resort on the lake and shopped, ate, saw a movie, shopped some more. ate some more. Had amazing sushi (if you like sushi) so I was told... I cant eat it and personally don't like it anyway but all in the name of love for my sister who does. I think the favorite stop for shopping was Sam Moon. We made too rather lengthy visits there. Is was just absolutely wonderful. I loved it. I love them.

It is rather amazing the power of a sisterhood. I love these women more than they could ever possibly know. They are each spectacular in so many ways. There are not many in the world whom I wish to be around more and certainly even fewer that I can learn so much from even by being silent, in their presence. They are sensitive, loving and forgiving in infinite ways. They are supportive and kind and understanding in ways only best friend sisters can be. It is sort of magical. And of course to have our mother dear with us was the frosting on the cake. She is marvelous in more ways than I could express.

Us women, together we can fit ANYTHING in a car.
