So to fill you in on all the details. In April, Evan was an extra and Daidy had a peaking part in a Spike Jonze short film he did her in Austin for Arcade Fire (musicians). The killer thing was Ben was out of town filming something with Olivia Newton John so he missed the entire thing, I could fill his green from envy all the way from Florida, bummer!
It was quite the experience. Evans day ended up waiting and waiting hours and hours all to be told to go home... they ran out of time and had to skip his scene. He was much disappointed but was thrilled to get his 53$ bucks! Daidy on the other hand had a small speaking part. She was shy and beautiful and everything I knew she would be, wonderful. She was so impressed with the prolific lady bug colony and the friendly lady bugs crawling up her arms... who had time for that famous director!
We have not seen the short film yet... not sure if it will even be anything (content wise) we could show the kids but it was a fun experience. One very cool thing, maybe just to us was the 1st AC on set and a friend of ours that has worked for Fueld and he was wearing our Fueld shirt on set... pretty cool!
