Photography Class

Well I completed my first "official" photography class a couple of weeks ago. Even though it has felt like I have been in a photography or cinematography class for years with my husband as a director, I have picked up on a lot just from him. As I continue to get more and more photography jobs I certainly feel more capable and qualified with my equipment :) I think I got the food thing down so as long as my subjects look and smell yummy, then I am set!

My good friend and I took this class up at UT (University of Texas) and it was super duper fun. We learned all kinds of valuable information. Below are some samples of some of my assignments. None of them are spectacular but we were learning technical skills that demonstrated difference apertures, shutter speeds, lighting, depth of field, motion, leading lines, framing devices etc. All these photos had to remain untouched from editing so they sort of lack some luster but we were learning skilz! Totally fun.

way behind.....SPRING BREAK posts to follow once kids are back in school :)
