Kids Winter Parties

Sad but true... gone are the days of enjoying the true meaning of the season at school. I am the room parent in 2 of the boys classrooms and wow... did we ever have to jump through hoops when planning the "Winter (aka Christmas) Party" to make sure we were including all beliefs and backgrounds and leaving the word CHRISTmas out of it... so sad. The boys still had a great time. Note to self, remind me not to sign up to be room parent x2.






Fish and his BBF Karter... their last day at school before Christmas break that got a day off where they get to read books all day, wear pjs and bring their favorite blanket. I was actually in Eddies class that day but I walked down to see how they were all doing and this was what my eyes beheld, Fish and Karter snuggled up together in the corner reading, it was so cute I had to snap a shot from my camera.
