Happy Birthday Sugar Precious

Holy Heck. Could there possibly be a sweeter, more adorable, more delicious human being on the planet? Nope, I didn't think so. This is he who makes my world turn round. I am sure to be the luckiest woman alive. He is the total package, He cares for me on every level, he rubs my feet after a long day, cleans the house when he sees it is messy, folds piles of laundry just because it it there, he never complains, loves going on family outings and always makes me laugh. He is a spiritual giant who understand why he is here and takes seriously the obligation he is under provide for his family in every way, spiritually, emotionally and physically. He amazes me. He is enormously talented and I am sure he has lights flickering in his brain that just do not exist in my brain, he literally has creativity oozing out of him. I am so proud of him for having the courage to follow his dreams and in some cases make the hard decisions that have led him where we are today. I testify, he is a remarkable human being and is so special to me and so many otthers. I feel in many ways we live a fairytale relationship, perfect on so many levels. I am so grateful he is eternally mine all mine! Happy birthday sugar angel!

Eddies BE-lated Birthday Party

Things have just been too busy, almost too busy to plan a little get together for Eddie and a few of his friends. We were finally able to squeeze it in 2 weeks after the fact. They are all just the cutest group of boys and had a great time together.

Visit From The Buckwalters

The only family "I" have from Texas are in Dallas/Fort Worth area. My cousin Ted and his adorable family came down for the weekend and we had a great time. Our kids had a blast together and keep wondering when they are coming again...It was wonderful to connect with family and we are grateful they are so close.

I wonder if that sign wasn't meant to go there... my kids were just doing what they were told :)

THANKFUL Thursday

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. Thorton Wilder

As I look ahead at the road ahead... a new year, new goals, new challenges and new blessings I recommit to recognize daily the many things I treasure. It brings into focus the things that I believe to be most important. It helps me govern my life with purpose and meaning. I have a strong testimony of the law of attraction and know the more time I spend focusing on our blessings the less time I will have to dwell on the ones we don't. As I look ahead on my calendar, there will be some very busy weeks and blogging won't be on the radar, regardless of my schedule, never does a day pass by where I do not pray in gratitude for the many things we are blessed with and the many thing I am thankful for. I encourage you all travel down the road of gratitude more often and take time everyday to give more thanks.

Things I am THANKFUL for today
1) A safe and happy holiday in Utah
2) Hamburgers crib tent. The best invention for every kiddo that likes to climb out of their cribs before you are ready for them to climb out.
3) A new year and new opportunities. This is going to be a great year.
4) A new calling that makes it necessary for me to be more efficient with my time and makes it almost impossible for me to waste time.
5) Challenges. The winds that blow make the tree stronger. Read the poem Good Timber

Happy New Year to everyone!

Happy Birthday Eddie

Ahhh... what is happening? Time just seems to pass too quickly. My sweet little baby Eddie just turned 11. He is a very gentle, sweet, easy going kid. He is eager to please, gentle spirited, tender hearted, affectionate, loving, trusting, patient and obedient. He is so special to us and we are unbelievably grateful for him in our lives. Happy Birthday Eddie, we LOVE you OH SO VERY MUCH!This picture captures my sweet little Eddie from the time he was only 2, when all hell is breaking loose (which was the case in this picture) he is still there, finding comfort where he can, loving genuinely and unconditionally.

New Years Holiday at Deer Hollow

After a painfully long road trip to Utah we spent an absolutely WONDERFUL week in Utah at my parents place and forgot (almost) about the long 21 hour drive. Every stay there is nothing short of luxury; the food, the accommodation's, the pillow top beds and feather pillows, people you love everywhere and to TOP it off with the best family ever... it is heaven on earth. Sometimes we go visit and we just have to pitch ourself asking "is it really real?" Because it was so cold that they had about 4 feel of snow we spent a great deal of time inside (very unusual there) playing games and watching movies.

My gorgeous mother and did I mention gourmet cook?

Grandpa Garth

Uncle Dave using Douby as a typewriter.

My beautiful Sister Dane and her beautiful daughter (my niece) Whitney.

There's the crazy eye again :)

Burger and Dooey at the lodge.

The artist Scooby Do

One of the boys funnest past times was being pulled on the sleds behind the fourwheeler. It was so funny watching them fly around and squeal with delight.

Eddies snow fort.

New Years Eve Dance, the can can.

That's was our shoes look like, really not post worthy I just thought it was cute, all gathered up and ready for the drive home.
