Mystery Solved - BYT Going Private!

Phwwww! What a relief... my debacle of staying open but still private has been solved. I realized after having a short conversation with my oh so insightful and in tune husband that I needed to go private on my BUILDING a Testimony segment. So I have started a new blog dedicated more to things of a spiritual nature and I am able to keep this as our family blog dedicated to thing that are fun and happy in our life. I still feel that the other is so important but I do not want it out there for the entire world to read so PRIVATE IT GOES! effective immediately! I will still post a brief... I mean VERY brief summary (like a single quote of something) of my testimony every week but the rest will be on my other blog. All other testimony posts will be edited and moved to the other sight asap.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in being invited please reply otherwise there will be no access to my heart and soul :)

BUILDING a Testimony - My Divine Nature

It confirmed to me today that even if I am not important to anyone else, I am (not matter what) still very important to my Heaven Father. During church today I was beginning to feel it. It was as though I had been given a tangible gift from my Heavenly Father, all day I felt His tender mercies dusting down upon me like sugar being sprinkled from a sieve, confirming my divine nature.

THANKFUL Thursday

FYI... when I started this tradition I tagged all people I know everywhere to be more thankful and share the things you are thankful for. COME'on it shouldn't be that hard to think of 5 things, once a week you are thankful for... ever heard of Karma?

Things I am thankful for today

1) My Toothbrush... and all toiletries for that matter like toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo.
2) Photographs that bring you back to that very moment in time.
3) Early morning family scripture study and prayer.... what a difference that makes!
4) When you realize that your efforts in "good parenting" are paying off when you see your child reprimand his sibling for being out of line. It is so fun to see the boys say to each other "you don't talk that way to mom!..." or "WHAT! did you just say to her (mom)?" it is hard to keep a straight face but worth every minute of it.
4) That I am a spiritual being.
5) That Eddie #1 made the Clayton Cardnails school choir.

BUILD Your Testimony - What Do You Think About?

What do you think about?

Elder Spencer W. Kimball said "When you look in the dictionary for the most important word, do you know what it is? It could be 'remember.' Because all of [us] have made covenants … our greatest need is to remember. That is why everyone goes to sacrament meeting every Sabbath day—to take the sacrament and listen to the priests pray that [we] '… may always remember him and keep his commandments which he has given [us].' … 'Remember' is the word".

Simply said, if you are thinking about what is important, you will REMEMBER what is important. This is very much my testimony!

In the name of Jesus Christ
Amen

A Joy Beyond Measure - Happy Birthday #5

A few things we will not want to forget about Hamburger right now....
That he sucks his tongue when he gets near his blanket, like a kitten that was weaned from it's mama too soon. It is absolutely, excruciatingly yummy for me to watch.
He loves his Gaa Gass = Sun glasses and Boo Boo = Blanket. He loves his Moke =Milk at night and Mana Man= Spiderman is his favorite superhero. One of his favorite things to do to ride his gatebood = skateboard down the drive way. He love his window down in the car so he can feel the wind in his hair. He LOVES his dad very much and gets so excited when he comes home. He is very attached to Daidy, when she goes to preschool he asks "Daidy?? where Daidy go?" and he seems almost out of sorts with out her. Yo Gabba Gabba is his favorite show. He LOVES dips or any sorts, if we give him chicken nuggets he will sit and suck the dip dry. Sam is a gentle, sweet, angelic little boy. He is compliant, obedient, happy and quite perfectly perfect. He is beautiful to look at and smells yummy. I could go on and on like any parent would, he is SO special to us and we love him deeply, simply said he brings us JOY BEYOND MEASURE!

Here is a look back to the last 2 years with our wonderful #5 aka Burger, Hamburger, Hamburgler(lerlerlerlerler), Hamster, Hambone, Hammy, BurgerFry
