On the tails of my last dismal post I thought sence I am finished reading this awesome book I should take it off my sidebar and post my happy review. This is one of my favorite books. I just finished it and it has truly inspired me. Every now and then I will read a book that acts like a lens to my life and the world around me... this is one of those books! It RE-confirms everything I know to be true and as a result have been edified by the spirit. Elder Scott says over and over again that if a principle doesn't exactly pertain, then we need to share it with someone who it might. There were chapters where I thought... "oh this doesn't TOTALLY apply to me right now" but nonetheless he speaks of nothing but truths and even if in small ways you can apply these principles your life will be brighter and certianly filled iwth more PEACE HAPPINESS AND JOY. Here are a few of the lessons I had learned.
*** Write down personal revelation and inspiration WHEN THEY COME!!!
*** Share with others your testimony.
*** Trials and challenges ARE for your OWN good, they build your character. Start asking WHAT not WHY.
*** Our weaknesses keep us humble, use that for good
*** Heavenly Father answers prayers always and sometimes a little at a time... be patient.
*** There is SO much Peace, Happiness and Joy through strict obedience to Gods will.
I am so grateful I have had the opportunity to read this book and look forward to reading it again. I kow I have recommending this book to MANY people and even bought it for a couple, I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts and feelings also. So I am also on the quest for another great book, I am not big on fiction so if any of you have any ideas let me know.

Thanks! I am always looking for a good book!
I am definitely going to try to read this book, sounds good!
Wonderful! Thx for the review! I'll be purchasing it. We'll see when I get to reading it. I MUST make time for myself to read! Somehow I make time to watch mindless TV & blog (blogging is important:)) but I never read.
