Dearest Friends *** going private ***

Dearest Friends,

After nearly 2 years at this blog (360+ posts). I have choosen to go private on our family blog Jenjamin7.  This family blog is really a family journal and history of "us" and our life, where we have been, where we are going and how we (I as the spokes person for our family) feel about it.  There have been times where I have thought of posting differently because of our exposure, which sort of defeats the purpose of why I keep a family blog to begin with. No huge reason as to why going private... just lots of little reasons. On a side note....If you do a name search for yourself or your spouse/children ... you might be surprised where you end up. Scary. So to sum it up I.... (rephrase) we love interested and vested visitors/friends/family so if you are "that" and want a place reserved for you at jenjamin7, PLEASE send me an email or a message so I can add you to our list. Changes will not happen for a week.

I will keep my other hobbie blogs (time permitting) open to all.

Easter Activities

Easter was splendid. We spent lots of time together as a family being that Easter fell on General Conference this year. That was awesome! More thoughts about that here. We had a great time with family, friends and friends that feel like family. Easter egg hunts, brunch, good food, colors blossoming. Love this time of year.

Easter weekend brunch with the Hackings and other good friends. Check out Bishop! He was in in the fun too. The had the most adorable little baby chicks to play with too. Those darn Hackings are so cool.

Terrific Trejos

Every now and then.... you meet a family and wish you were one of them. This family is truly one family anyone would be blessed to be a part of and I was blessed with that very privilege... at least for a few hours anyway as I shot their family pictures. They were all the most joyful, happy and shining people, the epitome. Editing them caused face cramps from all my smiling. Perhaps I will have to charge more for "super cute" people because of "happy face pain" while processing their photos. Come see more go here

April Fools

April Fools is one of our favorite days of the year.. well at least mine anyway. Part in honor of my Late Father who was the ultimate prankster but more so, what more fun can a parent have than planning boobietraps all day for their kids? Ours are so fun to teese. Every year we are up to no good on April Fools, remember this? This year was just as naughty ....with some nice.

It all started at midnight when I colored the boys faces with marker. What were suppose to be a kitty, bear and mustache man ended up more like a mess. They were pretty sensitive to the markings on their face and were quick to swipe/rub their faces which led to some unessessay smearing but still was very funny (for me). I unscrewed their light bulbs in their bathrooms, saranwrapped their toilets, tied shoe laces together, undid the back back straps, made hamburgers for breaskfast (yuck), packed their lunches all crazy like, everything in seperate bags and others not in a bag at all. When they came home from school I had a plate of Oreos out on the counter and of course they were suspicious for toothpaste... which there was none, you can never do the same trick 2 years in a row so instead I froze the cup of milk and then poured just a little bit of milk on top just before serving. It make it a little difficult to dunk those "O's". And lastly, we rewarded ourselves with a breakfast feast for dinner, the best sourdough pancakes ( from Grandma Workmans sourdough) on the planet and buttercream syrup! I am still tired but we had a blast and I have all kinds of "no good" ideas for next year... hee hee... har har!
