April Fools is one of our favorite days of the year.. well at least mine anyway. Part in honor of my Late Father who was the ultimate prankster but more so, what more fun can a parent have than planning boobietraps all day for their kids? Ours are so fun to teese. Every year we are up to no good on April Fools, remember
this? This year was just as naughty ....with some nice.
It all started at midnight when I colored the boys faces with marker. What were suppose to be a kitty, bear and mustache man ended up more like a mess. They were pretty sensitive to the markings on their face and were quick to swipe/rub their faces which led to some unessessay smearing but still was very funny (for me). I unscrewed their light bulbs in their bathrooms, saranwrapped their toilets, tied shoe laces together, undid the back back straps, made hamburgers for breaskfast (yuck), packed their lunches all crazy like, everything in seperate bags and others not in a bag at all. When they came home from school I had a plate of Oreos out on the counter and of course they were suspicious for toothpaste... which there was none, you can never do the same trick 2 years in a row so instead I froze the cup of milk and then poured just a little bit of milk on top just before serving. It make it a little difficult to dunk those "O's". And lastly, we rewarded ourselves with a breakfast feast for dinner, the best sourdough pancakes ( from Grandma Workmans sourdough) on the planet and buttercream syrup! I am still tired but we had a blast and I have all kinds of "no good" ideas for next year... hee hee... har har!
