Well I have about 10 posts in que saved as drafts (bound and determined to get caught up before we left) that I am sure I will get to eventually while on my 6 week vacation. We are headed out tomorrow and am officially declaring summer recess! It will surely be filled with lots of family friends and fun. I send my best wishes to all you great people out there. Keep in touch y'all and keep posted as I am sure I will be checking in occasionally with updates.
This was the year end gift I did for the twins teachers. I was room parent in both class rooms and had each kid send me 5 words they would use to describe their teacher. I took their photos and pasted all the students words on card stock. It turned out really special, they were so touched! We will miss these great teachers!
Right after school got out we headed up to Dallas for an action packed family reunion. It was a great weekend!

She was a bit taken back with all the G forces, apparently she had a hard time keeping her head steady and eyes straight and that had those 2 giggling like to little kids. All in the family. Yet another shameless self promotion. (unintentional of course)
WOW! It sounds so cliche but this year has flown by! My sweet little Eddie will be in middle school next year. He still seems to innocent and young for that but he is very excited. It has been a wonderful year for him. Friend of Evans Brason Whitney and JD Hartman who in October of this past year had a near drowning in their family pool and is now severely handicapped. Very sweet boy, very sad. Saying our goodbyes to Eddie. Immediately following his graduation party we shipped him off to grandmas house to work for a week on the ranch with his cousins. As sad as it was to see him off alone it was great experience for him and he had a GREAT time.
