Happy Easter

A beautiful testimony from President Gordon B. Hinckley about our Lord Savior.
"None so great has ever walked the earth. None other has made a comparable sacrifice or granted a comparable blessing. He is the Savior and the Redeemer of the world. I believe in Him. I declare His divinity without equivocation or compromise. I love him. I speak the name of Jesus Christ in reverence and wonder. He is our King, our Lord, our Master, and Living Christ, who stands on the right hand of His Father. He Lives! He lives, resplendent and wonderful, the living Son of the living God."
We had a very special and memorable Easter. For our family, this year was very much Christ centered, mostly because the boys are getting older, it was wonderful to see them ponder and reflect on how special our Savior is to us. Tyler said on the way home from Church "Mom, this was the BEST Sunday ever, ever, ever in my whole life!" He is my little spiritual giant, even the other 2 boys really got the true meaning of Easter this year too. It was a very special day!

I couldn't decide which one to use... they are both so dang cute!

I am an addict!

I have a fetish! I admit it! I am a full fledged addict! I am utterly and completely addicted to my babies yummy breath. Sam-burgerler has been a bit sick the last week or so and has been viciously stubborn in giving his juicy open mouth baby kisses. I know to some, this may sound gross but I promise, it is the sweetest thing known to woman. This morning I woke up to undeniably, the sweetest little angle child in the entire world, filled with happiness, laughter and love. He has liberally dished out kisses and "love'ez" (affection), even when unsolicited he would lay his sweet, soft, deliciously clean baby lips on my face... over and over and over again. If in Heaven you are unable to find me, know I will be standing in line to have babies just so I can have some of their breath. This day has been complete EUPHORIA and many other words our language has no way of describing. I leave this blissful day satisfied and fulfilled being immeasurably grateful for this splendid gift of being a mother. I fear tomorrow will bring painful withdrawals and the even more painful reminder he (and the rest of my children) is rapidly progressing down his road of independence, so for that purpose I HAD to record this heavenly day for my posterity's sake. Thank You Sam!

Ryan the Performer

At the year end awards show for the boys basketball season they had a guest performer come who does really cool tricks with basketballs and uses some of the kids for his demonstrations and sweet little bright eyed Ryan got picked to go up on stage, how could they resist! It was so funny and he loved every minute of it!

Now You See It.... Now You Don't!

Tyler has been long awaiting the courage to cut his long skater locks for the spikey "fauxhawk do" of his past. He has been mustering up the nerve for several months now and tonight he finally broke down and did it. As silly as it seems I was really proud of him although I have to admit I was kind of sad.... good thing he looks adorable either way!
